The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Zajezierze is a neo-Romanesque stone church of 1844-1845, without a tower or apse, with an organ of 1845 in the gallery.
The church stands in the western part of the village, surrounded by a cemetery. It was built of stone on a rectangular plan; the windows and the west portal are round-arched and framed in brick, and there is an oculus in the gable above the entrance. The roof is gabled, with ceramic tiles. Next to it stand a freestanding bell tower with a bell of 1613 and a memorial to those who fell in the First World War.
The interior has a flat, boarded ceiling, plastered and whitewashed walls and wooden pews. In the gallery stands a six-stop organ of 1845. After the war it was consecrated as a Catholic church on 13 January 1946, and it has been a parish church since 1976.
About 0.4 km away lies the manor and park complex in Zajezierze.
