Medieval fieldstone church in Rożnowo, without a tower, destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt in 1978 and 1979.
The Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Rożnowo is a towerless branch church in Banie municipality, in Gryfino County, belonging to the parish of Christ the King in Lubanowo. The sources date it differently: the Wikipedia entry to the 15th century, the heritage register to the turn of the 14th century.
The church was built of erratic boulders on a quadrangular plan and covered with a gabled roof. The gables are decorated with pinnacles, and the brick east gable also with blind niches. The chancel is closed by a plain wall, and the interior is closed by an open, angled ceiling.
In 1945 the building was destroyed in the fighting. It was rebuilt in 1978 and 1979, and on 26 July 1979 it was consecrated as a Catholic church. The church is entered in the heritage register.
In the neighbourhood lie, among others, the church in Lubanowo and the church in Sosnowo.
