The Church of St Charles Borromeo in Kołacz is a half-timbered filial church, formerly Protestant, now Roman Catholic, belonging to the parish in Popielewo. It stands in Połczyn-Zdrój municipality. The heritage register dates it to the 17th century, and the Wikipedia entry on the village to the 17th-18th century.
Kołacz lies in West Pomerania, about 0.7 km south of Lake Kołackie, and east of the village rises Kołacza Góra. The village was a fief of the Pomeranian Manteuffel family, and the estate had the same owner until 1945. It grew out of a farm that already existed in the 17th century. The village has kept the Manteuffel manor house, as well as a palace park from the second half of the 19th century, entered in the heritage register.
