A lake within the boundaries of Wałcz with the only suspension bridge in Poland over a lake, bathing areas and a red trail to Drawa National Park.
Lake Raduń is a lake within the administrative boundaries of Wałcz, in the Wałcz Lakeland. The shoreline of the lake is more than 19 km long, and by the water lie the Olympic Preparation Centre of the Central Sports Centre, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre, bathing areas and campsites. At Raduń there is the only suspension bridge in Poland situated over a lake.
The area of the water surface is given as ranging from 197.5 to 229.7 ha. The water surface lies at an altitude of about 110.5 m above sea level. The average depth is 9.5 m and the greatest 25.1 m. The south-western part, separated from the main body of water by a peninsula, is sometimes called Dybrzno. The present name was introduced officially in 1950, replacing the German name Radun See.
Kłosowski Bridge is a steel pedestrian bridge 85 m long, built in 1978 at the narrowest point of the lake, on the site of an earlier wooden footbridge. It makes it possible to reach the fortifications of the Pomeranian Wall.
A red hiking trail runs along the shore of the lake from Wałcz to Drawa National Park. In the part of the lake from the suspension bridge towards Wałcz, craft with combustion engines of up to 90 hp are allowed, from 1 June to 30 September between 8:00 and 20:00. In the rest of the lake engines may be used only by sports associations and similar bodies during activities organised by budgetary institutions. The most common fish are pikeperch, eel, bream, pike, roach, perch, carp, tench and wels catfish.
In Wałcz, about 3 km from the lake, there is the Wałcz Land Museum.
