A retention reservoir on the Radew from 1922 with an area of about 190 ha, with a hydroelectric power station, recreation and a ban on combustion engines in season.
Lake Rosnowskie is an artificial reservoir on the Radew River in the Manowo municipality in Koszalin County, created in 1922 after the river was dammed with an earth dam. Wikipedia counts it among the oldest retention reservoirs in Poland. It lies 59.8 m above sea level, with an area of about 190 ha, a length of 10 km and a width of up to 400 m.
The average depth in the former bed of the Radew is 6 to 8 m, and by the dam it reaches 12 m; the capacity is about 8.7 million m³. The reservoir supplies a hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 3.2 MW, and serves flood protection and recreation. The shores are fairly high, varied with small bays and covered with forest. Because of the creation of the reservoir the route of the narrow-gauge railway was corrected at this point.
