A glacial trough lake near Wałcz with a bathing area on the northern shore and a scout camp.
Lake Stręczyńskie, on maps and in publications more often called Strączno, lies in the Wałcz Lakeland in Wałcz municipality. It has an elongated, trough shape, and national road no. 22 runs near its eastern shore.
The reservoir is of glacial origin. The water surface area is from 37.5 to 45.3 ha, the average depth is 4.9 m and the greatest 11 m. The water level lies at an altitude of about 112 m above sea level. Under other names, Dzikowo or Lake Dzikowskie, the lake appears in some publications, so when looking for it in guidebooks it is worth knowing all the variants.
A scout camp operates by the lake, and a bathing area has been set up on its northern shore. No trails or equipment hire by the lake are described. In the area also lies the larger Lake Raduń, and the town of Wałcz is a few kilometres away.
