A lake in Golczewo with an area of 33.7 ha, with a bathing site, a promenade pier, a promenade and two walking trails.
Lake Szczucze lies within the boundaries of Golczewo, on the Gryfice Plain, and is developed as a town beach with a promenade. It has an area of 33.68 ha, an average depth of 4.6 m and a maximum of 8.7 m. It lies at an altitude of 7.8 m above sea level in the upper part of the channel of the Niemica River, which flows out of it towards Lake Okonie.
In the north-eastern part of the lake is a town bathing site with a developed beach and the 10th Anniversary Promenade (Promenada X-lecia). The guarded beach has a water slide and a water-sports equipment rental, in the water there are illuminated fountains, and on the shore a small amphitheatre. In 2004 a promenade pier 70 m long was opened. The area around the lake has a pavement, shelters and jetties. The western and southern shores are wooded, with occasional access points to the water.
The lake can be walked all the way round on the "Niemica Valley" trail (4.5 km out of 17.5 km in total) or partly on the trail through the "Golczewo Forest" (2 km out of 15.5 km). On the southern shore lies the Golczewo Forest nature and landscape complex, with an approximately 140-year-old stand of pine and beech, springs and streams. At the campsite grows a pedunculate oak with a girth of 410 cm, recognised as a natural monument. On the isthmus between the two lakes stands the tower of the former Castle of the Bishops of Kamień, that is the Castle Tower in Golczewo.
