Piast Park

Stargard
About Piast Park

The smallest park of the Stargard planty, by the Pyrzyce Gate, with a PTTK monument.

Piast Park lies in the western part of the Old Town in Stargard and is part of Stargard's planty (ring of promenade parks). To the north it borders Chrobry Park, to the south Popiel Park. It is the smallest of Stargard's parks and covers 0.59 ha.

By the Pyrzyce Gate stands a monument set up in it on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of PTTK. The park lies by the town walls, so it fits well into a walk around the town: right next to it are the Pyrzyce Gate, the Weavers' Tower and the Church of the Holy Spirit (about 0.1 km), and not far away the Archaeological and Historical Museum (about 0.3 km).

Practical information

  • The park is within the Old Town, by the Pyrzyce Gate, and admission is free.
  • It can be combined with the neighbouring planty parks.
