The Monument to the Army Nurse (Pomnik Sanitariuszki) in Kołobrzeg is a bronze sculpture by Adolf Cogiel of Wrocław, unveiled on 13 July 1980. It is a tribute to the women who fought in the ranks of the Polish Army during the Second World War, especially in the battles for Kołobrzeg in March 1945.
The sculpture shows a kneeling girl in a soldier's uniform, with a bag on her shoulder bearing a cross. She is giving aid to a wounded soldier. The model for the figure was the army nurse Private Ewelina Nowak, who was killed in March 1945 while pulling a wounded man from the battlefield. The monument was designed so that the sun's rays do not reach the girl's face.
In September 2015 renovation of the plinth began, because its concrete and granite elements were crumbling.
The monument stands not far from Stefan Żeromski Park.
