A port on the Dziwna Strait in Wolin, with quays for barges, yachts, fishing boats and passenger vessels.
Wolin sea port lies on the eastern shore of Wolin Island, on the Dziwna Strait. It was formally established in 1963, and its boundaries were set in 2021. Mainly grain was handled here, and at times also building components.
Berths are assigned according to the type of vessel. At the North-West Quay stand barges, passenger vessels and yachts, at the Fishing Mooring Quay fishing boats, and at the Transhipment Quay cargo barges as needed. The grain elevator with its quay is currently out of use.
Through the Dziwna Strait runs a sea fairway linking the Kamień Lagoon with the Szczecin Lagoon. Two approach channels lead to the port, the northern one from the side of Dziwnów and Kamień Pomorski and the southern one from the Szczecin Lagoon. Ship traffic through the town involves three bridges, among them the swing bridge, whose opening is arranged with the Town Office in Wolin.
From the quay it is close to the Regional Museum in Wolin and the Collegiate Church of St Nicholas.
