Music in Koszalin: dozens of events in the calendar, from the Koszalin Philharmonic to Centrum Kultury 105 and the arena hall. See where music is played.
In Koszalin live music visits several stages, and the philharmonic mainly sets the rhythm of the calendar. The venues named here reflect where the portal lists the most concerts, not a judgement of repertoire.
Most musical events gather at the Filharmonia Koszalińska im. Stanisława Moniuszki (Koszalin Philharmonic). The portal's calendar lists plenty there, so it is the first place to check if you are looking for a concert in town. The institution appears in the data under two spellings, but it is one and the same philharmonic.
A few concerts take place at Centrum Kultury 105 w Koszalinie (Culture Centre 105). Other performances, cabaret among them, also happen in the same venue, so check the day and category of an event. Single concerts appear on the Fregata stage and in the arena hall, Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa. The planning order is therefore simple: the philharmonic first, then Centrum Kultury 105, and the remaining stages last.
Go to the page of events in Koszalin and filter by day and by the "Muzyka" category. The list music in Koszalin covers only concerts from this city, while the full picture for the region is on the list of music in West Pomerania.
Tickets can be bought through the portal, from the event's own page. Before you set off, check which stage hosts it, because these venues lie in different parts of the city.
If you are staying all day, pair the concert with a walk. The article on the old town with its cathedral and town hall covers the centre, while the piece on Góra Chełmska adds a viewpoint. When the weather turns, there is the rainy-day article for the coast, and for architecture the guide to town halls in the eastern region.
