Events in Koszalin: concerts at the philharmonic, plays at the Baltic Drama Theatre and cabaret nights in several venues around the city.

The Koszalin calendar holds dozens of concerts, over a dozen plays and cabaret shows, plus occasional festivals and sports events. It is for those who want to know where in the city to look for an evening out.

Which Koszalin venues host live concerts?

Most calendar entries fall under music in Koszalin, and several venues have the largest number of listings. Your choice depends on whether you want a concert hall or a club.

The most frequent venue in the calendar is Filharmonia Koszalińska im. Stanisława Moniuszki (Koszalin Philharmonic), followed by Prywatka. Concerts also take place at Centrum Kultury Studenckiej Kreślarnia (a student culture centre), at the Amfiteatr (amphitheatre) and at a venue called Fregata, but those are single listings. It is worth checking whether a new entry has appeared for your date at a less obvious address, such as the amphitheatre.

Which theatre in Koszalin should you pick for an evening?

For drama and musical stages the points of reference are the Bałtycki Teatr Dramatyczny (Baltic Drama Theatre) and Teatr Muzyczny Adria. The calendar holds over a dozen entries under theatre in Koszalin, and cabaret has its own page, cabaret in Koszalin.

The Baltic Drama Theatre is among the venues with the most events, and single entries concern its back stage. Teatr Muzyczny ADRIA has operated since 2020 in the former Adria cinema at ulica Grunwaldzka 8-10, and its hall seats about 300. By its own account it is the first stage of this kind in Koszalin and the voivodeship. Cabaret and entertainment shows also appear at Teatr Variete Muza and at Centrum Kultury 105 w Koszalinie.

Where do large events and shows take place in Koszalin?

The halls are addresses for larger-scale events, such as sports or spectacles. They appear in the calendar one at a time, so it is worth checking them regularly.

These are the Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa (spectacle and sports hall) and Hala Gwardii Koszalin. Their programme changes more often than at the theatres, so it is best to use the day and category filters to see what is on for your chosen date. Single entries in the festival and sport categories show that the calendar covers more than concert halls.

How do you use the calendar and what is there to see in Koszalin between events?

The calendar lets you narrow the list by day and kind of event, and a ticket is bought from the seller named in the entry. Start with the category filter, especially if you only want music or theatre.

Before or after a concert, look at the things to do in Koszalin. The article on the Old Town in Koszalin, with its cathedral, town hall and museum helps plan a walk through the centre, and the text on Góra Chełmska and its lookout tower suggests where to go for a view. For spare hours there is also an overview of aquaparks and swimming pools in the region.
