Teatr: Koszalin

Theatre in Koszalin: dozens of events, from the Baltic Drama Theatre to the ADRIA Music Theatre and the Variete Muza theatre. See where to go.

Koszalin's theatre stages differ in character: there is a drama theatre, a private music stage and venues where performances happen less often. They are taken in turn here, starting with those that have the most events.

Where can you go to the theatre in Koszalin?

The Bałtycki Teatr Dramatyczny (Baltic Drama Theatre) appears most often in the portal's calendar, so it is the place to begin planning. The same institution also has a Scena na zapleczu (backstage stage), with few events, so for a smaller-scale show check its separate entry.

A few events go to the Teatr Muzyczny ADRIA, which has run since 2020 as a private stage inside an old Adria cinema, and its auditorium seats around 300. The address is Grunwaldzka 8-10. The theatre presents itself as the first musical one in the city and the region. The portal's place page is Teatr Muzyczny ADRIA (Adria Music Theatre in Koszalin).

Where else are shows staged in Koszalin?

Single theatre events also reach the arena hall called Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa, the Amfiteatr and the Teatr Variete Muza. The amphitheatre is an open-air stage, so in changeable weather check that an event has not been cancelled. These venues host fewer shows, so before travelling make sure the title you want is in the calendar.

How do you choose a show in the calendar?

Begin on the page of events in Koszalin and pick a day and the "Teatr" category to shorten the list. The list theatre in Koszalin is limited to one city. A wider view of the region is on the page theatre in West Pomerania. Tickets are sold through the portal, linked from each event.

An evening at the theatre pairs well with a walk through the centre. The article on the old town, cathedral and town hall suggests one, and for a shorter outing the text on Góra Chełmska fits. In wet weather, the seaside rainy-day article offers fallback plans.
