Bałtycki Teatr Dramatyczny in Koszalin invites you on 19 April 2027 at 19:00 to “A Recipe for Happiness,” a performance combining theatrical comedy with a concert and live music. It is described as a musical romantic comedy.
The story follows the patients of Doctor Kazimierz, a physician devoted to his patients who, according to the announcement, can heal both body and soul. The first of the women, Kasia, is looking for love and taking her first steps into adult life in a big city. The second, Kleo, is a middle-aged woman whose despair was triggered by her husband leaving. The third, Gina, is a senior who avoids loneliness and belongs to the “Adult Singles” club, which has named her “Girl of the Year.” Each of them treats the doctor more as a confidant than a physician. A country patient, living in the countryside and close to nature, also visits the office.
When their paths cross, the office becomes turbulent, and the story heads toward an unexpected ending. The title has a subtitle referencing the history of Polish humor. Many funny mix-ups, songs, and dance numbers are promised. The performance lasts almost 2 hours.
