A branch church in Roby from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, with a tower from the 17th century, a painted ceiling, a music gallery and a historic altar.
The Church of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Roby in Trzebiatów municipality is a branch of the parish of Saints Peter and Paul in Mrzeżyno. It was built of brick on a stone foundation at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, although the heritage register gives the 13th century.
The church has a rectangular plan and a separate, semicircular chancel. The roof is gabled, covered with galvanised sheet metal. In the 17th century a square tower with a sheet-metal conical spire, ending in a ball with a cross, was added in the western part of the nave.
The nave is covered by a wooden beamed ceiling with painted plant ornament. Above the entrance stands a music gallery supported on two wooden posts, and its balustrade is decorated with scenes from the Bible. In the chancel a historic altar has survived, with columns and figures of little angels, with New Testament scenes painted on wood. On the left of the altar stands a wooden, carved and polychrome pulpit. The windows hold contemporary stained glass with Eucharistic symbols. It was consecrated as a Catholic church on 22 August 1946.
The parish church in Mrzeżyno lies about three kilometres further on, and the harbour there is right next to it.
