Former Jewish cemetery of about 1735, closed down after 1969; fragments of gravestones survive in the undergrowth.
The Jewish cemetery in Pyrzyce was established around 1735. It was located next to the town cemetery, by present-day Basenowa Street. The fate of the cemetery during the Second World War is not known.
The cemetery was closed down after 1969. Today there is no laid-out place of remembrance on its site: shrubs and trees grow there, and fragments of gravestones can still be found in the undergrowth. Right next to it is the newest part of the Polish cemetery, laid out on the grounds of a former German cemetery.
