A lake within the boundaries of Wałcz with a sailing marina, angling and a shoreline almost 11 km long.
Lake Zamkowe (Castle Lake) lies within the boundaries of Wałcz and in the north cuts into the town's buildings. It has an elongated shape, and its shores form a fairly regular line 10,950 m long. Wikipedia describes it as a town lake, not as the Wałcz Reservoir.
On the northern shore stands a sailing marina, near which runs national road no. 10. The use of craft with combustion engines is permitted. The water is managed by the PZW Wałcz-Miasto club, and the lake has been systematically stocked with fish since 2003. It has a small inflow from the south, from a nearby marsh, and the outflow leads in the north through a covered channel through the town and joins the outflow of Lake Raduń.
