Observation Tower at Karsibór Forest District

The observation tower at Karsibór Forest District (Międzyzdroje Forest Inspectorate) is an unroofed viewing platform 8 m high, built entirely of larch wood in a post-and-beam construction. It was created as part of a sustainable tourism project in Natura 2000 areas, co-financed from the EU Cohesion Fund, and the forest inspectorate described it in December 2022 as new.

It stands by the "Karsiborskie Paprocie" walking and educational trail. From above there is a panorama of the Szczecin Lagoon, and the place is also suitable for birdwatching. By the tower are educational boards, benches and tables for resting. On the same trail lies the Karsiborskie Paprocie Nature Reserve (1.3 km).

Practical information

• The forest inspectorate recommends getting there by bicycle along the marked cycle route. The nearest place for a car is about 4.3 km from the tower.
