Single-storey manor house of the von Sydow family from the late 19th century with a portico, a ballroom and a park of 19 ha.
The palace in Cerkwica, called a manor house in the heritage register, stands on Pałacowa Street in Karnice municipality. The register dates it to the second half of the 19th century and the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and describes it as brick and eclectic. The Encyclopedia of West Pomerania describes a Neoclassical manor house from the end of the 19th century, rebuilt in 1906, and the Wikipedia entry links it with the von Sydow family.
The single-storey building has a rectangular plan, a projecting bay with a portico of Doric columns on which a terrace rests, and a mansard roof with a dormer on the axis of the façade. Inside, a ballroom and a fireplace with a cast-iron insert have survived. Next to it stand farm buildings, and the manor park from the second half of the 19th century covers 19 ha and has old trees, including limes, beeches, oaks and a white mulberry. According to the encyclopedia the site is closed to visitors.
