The palace in Gadom, entered in the heritage register, extended in 1909 and in private hands since 1996.
The palace in Gadom stands on voivodeship road no. 108 in Golczewo municipality. It is a building entered in the heritage register, a former manor house from a landed estate, which after many changes is today in private hands.
According to Wikipedia, the palace was built in the 18th century of half-timbering, on the grounds of a landed estate. A fire that destroyed almost the whole village in 1880 did not destroy the building. In 1909 the manor house was extended. The heritage register gives a different date, the end of the 19th century, and gives the style as eclectic and the material as brick, so Wikipedia and the register disagree about the building's age and construction material.
After the war the rooms of the manor house were occupied by the offices of a State Agricultural Farm (PGR). Since 1996 the manor house has been in private hands, and in 2004 restoration work was carried out in it. According to Wikipedia, in 2023 the building housed an inn and the restaurant “Dzika Róża”.
