A Neo-Gothic brick palace from the 19th century in Otok, with 1864 and 1870 both given as the year of construction.
Otok Palace is a Neo-Gothic brick building from the second half of the 19th century in a village in Gryfice municipality. The heritage register gives 1864 as the year of construction, and Wikipedia gives 1870.
The palace was built of brick in the Neo-Gothic style. In the Wikipedia entry on the village it is one of two surviving historic monuments, next to the church, and the caption of a photograph from 2008 calls the building dilapidated. Otok was already mentioned in a document of 1224. The owners of the village, the Woedtke family, used that name until 1945, and the family produced Dobiesław, who in 1277 in Gryfice issued the foundation charter of the town of Płoty.
Right next to it, 200 m from the palace, stands the Neo-Romanesque Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, built of brick in 1913-1914.
