About Palace in Rudno

The ruins of a palace complex from the mid-19th century in a small hamlet on the Dębnica, in Tychowo municipality.

Rudno is a small hamlet in Tychowo municipality, in Białogard County, on the Dębnica River. The remains of a palace complex from the mid-19th century, entered in the heritage register, stand here.

The palace and park

The heritage register lists a palace complex from the mid-19th century, in which next to the palace there is a park from the same period. Today only ruins of the palace remain: this is how a photograph of the site on Wikimedia Commons is captioned (“remains of a historic palace”). Before the war the hamlet had the German name Rauden.

Nearby

Rudno lies about 3.5 km south of Stare Dębno, roughly a kilometre from voivodeship road no. 167. In Stare Dębno itself, 2.3 km in a straight line from the palace, stands St Stephen's Church, so the two places are easy to combine in one short trip around the municipality.
