A historic farmstead from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries in Niechorze, built on the plan of a closed quadrangle.
The Kosiński Family House is a historic farmstead in Niechorze, on Ludna Street at the corner with Pomorska. It dates from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries and today is used for exhibitions of Slavic crafts.
The farmstead is an example of an agrarian farm, unlike the fishing farms typical of the coast. The buildings form a closed quadrangle under a shared hipped roof, originally thatched, today covered with asbestos-cement sheets. One enters through wooden gates, and opposite them stands the dwelling house, which takes up the whole side of the quadrangle.
Besides the dwelling house, the complex has a barn with a threshing floor and storage bays, a granary, a stable and a pigsty. Some of the buildings are of brick, and some in the Prussian wall technique, originally half-timbered.
