A Neoclassical manor from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries with a landscape park of over 22 ha, the former seat of the von Flemming family; now private.
The manor in Mechowo is a single-storey building from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, originally Neoclassical, entered in the heritage register together with its park. It stands in a village in Golczewo municipality, in Kamień County. This is a different village from Mechowo in Płoty municipality.
The manor has a habitable attic, a two-storey projection at the front, a mansard roof with hipped ends and a floor area of 750 m2. The Encyclopedia of West Pomerania describes it as having no particular style. The heritage register gives the first half of the 19th century. It currently belongs to a private owner, and the source describes it as accessible from the outside. Next to it extends a landscape park from the late 18th century covering 22.92 ha.
Mechowo was mentioned as a knightly estate in 1433, when it belonged to the von Grappe family. From 1823 the owners were the von Flemmings. After 1945 the army took over the estate, and from 1952 to 1991 a state farm (PGR) operated here.
