A Neo-Baroque hunting manor from 1902-1910 on Lake Ostrowo in Mierzęcin, surrounded by a forest park.
The hunting manor in Mierzęcin stands on the shore of Lake Ostrowo, in Wolin municipality. The Neo-Baroque building was erected by the von Plötz family in 1902-1910, in place of a manor that burned down in 1902.
The designer and builder was Hans Wietengel of Wolin. The manor is single-storey, with a habitable attic and a mansard roof, and the entrance is preceded by a three-bay projection topped with a triangular tympanum. A forest park grows around it. The hornbeam hedges, oaks, horse chestnuts, elms and lime trees are remnants of an 18th-century French-style garden.
