Wooden larch manor house from the early 20th century in Szczecin-Niemierzyn, the only rebuilt building of the former sanatorium and farm after 1980.
The larch manor house at Międzyparkowa 12 in Szczecin is a small wooden manor house from the early 20th century, entered in the heritage register. It stands on the Arkońskie-Niemierzyn estate, in the north-western part of the Niemierzyn Valley.
In this part of the valley there once lay the Eckerberg farm, and next to it stood the sanatorium of the Arndt Foundation. After 1945 most of the buildings were destroyed or in time demolished. After 1980 only the larch manor house at today's Międzyparkowa 12 was rebuilt, part of the former foundation. In the early 1980s a health clinic for forestry workers was placed in it.
The heritage register describes the building as a manor house built of wood in the Alpine style and dates it to the early 20th century. It was entered in the voivodeship register by a decision of 22 February 1983 under number 1006 as a “larch manor house”. A further entry, A-900, dates from 5 August 2011.
