Neo-Classical palace of 1875 in Mołtowo in Gościno municipality, with a park from the early 19th century.
The palace in Mołtowo stands in a village in Gościno municipality, in Kołobrzeg County. The Neo-Classical building of 1875 is entered in the heritage register under number 920 of 2 December 1976.
The palace was built by Karl von Braunschweig, to whom the whole village belonged until 1945. The park around it dates from the early 19th century. During the Second World War the building was one of the places to which museum collections from Szczecin were moved. After the war a state farm was based here: workers lived in the palace and offices operated in it. Later the property with the park was taken over by the Agricultural Property Agency.
The building stands on a rectangular plan with proportions of 1 to 2. Rooms run along the sides, and the middle is occupied by a staircase with ornamental banisters, leading to internal galleries. In the daytime light enters through a round skylight in the roof. Some details and part of the marble staircase have survived.
In May 2016 13th-century Brandenburg denarii and a Bronze Age brooch were found in the park, and went to the National Museum in Szczecin. In January 2020 further Bronze Age objects were found there: bracelets, a spearhead and a socketed axe.
