A brick palace from 1871 in Paprotno in Karnice municipality, rebuilt, with projecting bays and a wing with a tower.
Paprotno Palace in Karnice municipality (Gryfice County) was built in 1871. The heritage register (number A-1621, entered in 2019) describes it as brick. It is a two-storey building with an area of 1,483 m2, which has lost its stylistic features through several rebuildings.
In the front part there are two projecting bays, and on the right a wing with a tower was added. The roof is hipped and flat. The historic interior fittings have not survived. Nearby stand farm buildings and a manor park.
From the Middle Ages until the 18th century the village was a fief of the von Manteuffel family, and from the mid-19th century until 1929 the estate belonged to the von Neste family. In 1945 the site was taken over by the Polish Army, and from 1951 the palace building was adapted as a school.
