Ruin of the palace of the von Borcke family from around 1890 with a portico, a coat of arms and a naturalistic park.
The palace in Rynowo is the ruin of a two-storey residence of the von Borcke family in Łobez municipality. The Wikipedia entry on the village and the Encyclopedia of West Pomerania date the construction to around 1890 and link it with Paul Albrecht von Borcke. The heritage register gives the second half of the 19th century.
The building has a high mansard roof with dormers in the form of a pediment, and at the front a portico with a colonnade in the shape of an oval veranda. On the front wall a cartouche with the Borcke coat of arms was placed. In the courtyard stands an obelisk commemorating the fighting of spring 1945. A naturalistic park from the second half of the 19th century, of 3.3 ha, adjoins the palace, with a magnificent plane tree just behind the residence.
The palace is abandoned and decaying, and in May 2007 its central part collapsed. The interiors are not fit for visiting.
