A half-timbered town hall from 1697 with a clock tower, the seat of the Nowe Warpno authorities from the beginning.
The Town Hall in Nowe Warpno is a half-timbered building (Prussian wall, Fachwerk) from 1697. The Wikipedia entry calls it one of the most architecturally interesting buildings of this type in Poland and the town's most valuable monument.
The town hall was built after the great fire of the town in 1692, in which the former one burnt down. The building has four bays, a square clock tower on the west side, and all the wings were erected in half-timbered technique.
From the beginning it was the seat of the town authorities, and it still performs this function today as the seat of the Town and Municipal Office. The interiors are therefore official.
Right next to it stands the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and on the Szczecin Lagoon itself is the Nowe Warpno Marina, about 200 metres from the town hall.
