Kołobrzeg cultural institution with Film Discussion Club screenings, concerts, performances, a gallery and classes.
The Zbigniew Herbert Regional Cultural Centre in Kołobrzeg is a cultural institution with a gallery and a year-round programme: concerts, performances, exhibitions and film screenings. Tickets are sold by its own box office.
The centre's website shows several regular strands. In the centre's cinema the Sztorm Film Discussion Club runs, organising weekend and classic screenings. The programme includes concerts (jazz, Viennese, All Souls'), comedy performances and exhibitions, including photography. The Contemporary Art Gallery and the Adebar Culture Laboratory operate on their own, and the offer is completed by free theatre workshops and the Little Art Studio.
The centre also runs regular classes in art, theatre and dance, is the patron of youth vocal and choral groups, and organises the annual Interfolk festival, the International Meeting with Folklore.
The centre lies close to the old town: 200 m away is the old Jewish cemetery, and 600 m away the Brunswick Palace. It is 700 m to the pier and 800 m to the lighthouse.
