The brick tower of a former 19th-century Dutch windmill, today a ruin on private land in Złocieniec municipality.
The Dutch windmill in Nowe Worowo is the brick tower of a former grain windmill, built in the 19th century in the village of Nowe Worowo in Złocieniec municipality. It has survived as a ruin and is entered in the register of immovable monuments.
Dutch-type windmills had a fixed masonry tower and a rotating cap with sails. In Nowe Worowo the brick tower is what remains of the old mill, and the mechanism itself is gone. The heritage register gives a date in the 19th century.
The structure is privately owned and is a ruin, so it is not suitable for visiting the interior. At most it can be seen from the road, with respect for the land on which it stands. In the area, a few kilometres away in Mirosławiec, is the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Mirosławiec.
