Half-timbered fisherman's cottage of 1855 at Sztormowa 4 in Dąbki, with a reed-thatched roof, entered in the heritage register.
Fisherman's Cottage no. 21 stands in Dąbki at Sztormowa 4 and dates from 1855. It is a building of half-timbered construction, entered in the heritage register in 1974 (no. 875). It is one of several historic 19th-century cottages in this seaside village.
The frame structure of the walls is made of oak. The walls are whitewashed with lime, and the beams are painted black. The house is covered with a hipped roof with a dormer, thatched with reed, and the thatch on both sides of the ridge is held down by two rows of poles. The building stands on a foundation of fieldstones. Originally the farmstead consisted of the cottage and a barn with sheds, but the barn was rebuilt many times and has no historic value today.
There are two entrances to the house. The wide, double-leaf ceremonial door on the road side bears the year of construction, 1855. The building has two bays: in the first there is a wide, short hall, which in the second narrows and leads to the door from the yard. On both sides of the hall there are two parlour rooms, and in the second bay the kitchen, store rooms and alcoves.
From Dąbki it is close to the marina, and about eight kilometres to the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes in Darłowo.
