The manor in Kłopotowo is a Modernist building from 1911 with late Neo-Renaissance elements, also called the von Wedel palace or manor. It was entered in the heritage register in 2021. It lies in a settlement in Dygowo municipality, in Kołobrzeg County.

The building

The manor was built in 1911 by Hasso von Wedel, who bought the estate around 1910. The building is of brick, with two wings and asymmetrical, with decorative oriels, a corner arcade and an angular tower with a bulbous helm. The façades are decorated with mascarons and bas-reliefs of warriors and animals. According to the entry on the village, painted ceilings, a fireplace and a decorative floor survive inside.

Park and history

The naturalistic park covers 6 ha, with beech, oak, lime and pine trees. In 1919 Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg was a guest here and planted an oak in the park; beside it lies a stone with a German inscription. After the war the manor served as a holiday camp centre.
