A municipal museum in the cellars of the library in Dobra, with rooms on the history of the town and the post-war period.
The Museum of the Dobra Land is a municipal institution in Dobra, founded in 2005 on the initiative of the local Centre for Social Activation. It is housed in the cellars of the Public Library building.
The first room shows the history of the town up to the Second World War, with particular attention to the von Dewitz family, the owners of the local castle. The second room gathers mementoes from the post-war period, from the settlement campaign in the Recovered Territories (the former German lands that became part of Poland after 1945) and from the everyday life of the residents. The collections also include items from the equipment of the disused Dobra Nowogardzka station of the Stargard Narrow-Gauge Railway.
A visit combines well with a walk to the castle in Dobra, which the first room is about, and to the Church of St Clare.
