About Palace in Koszewko

The palace in Koszewko stands in the eastern part of the village of Koszewko in Stargard municipality and is listed in the heritage register. It is a brick building set in a landscape park, today at the address Koszewko 13.

The building

The palace was built in the 19th century and thoroughly rebuilt in 1922. At that time a square, three-storey tower, richly decorated, was added at the corner. After 1945 the estate was managed by a state farm (PGR).

The palace is surrounded by a landscape park of 7.6 ha, dating from the 18th century. It contains natural-monument trees: a beech, two ash trees and four small-leaved lime trees. An avenue of horse chestnuts from the 1930s runs along the road.
