Town hall on the market square in Trzebiatów, of 1701, built on the remains of its Gothic predecessor, today the seat of the Municipal Office.
The town hall stands in the middle of the market square in Trzebiatów and still houses the Municipal Office. The present building dates from 1701, and Gothic arcades from the first town hall have survived in its elevation.
The first town council house was built in the 15th century in the Gothic style. It burned down in 1696. A new town hall was built in 1701 on the same site, on the remains of the older building. Wikipedia describes it as Neo-Classical, and the heritage register as a brick building of 1701.
The building has the plan of a quadrangle with a courtyard in the middle. The Gothic arcades from the first town hall are exposed in the elevation of the west wing. The main east wing is distinguished by a higher roof, a false risalit (a bay marked only on the facade) and a tower set into the body with a Baroque helm and a clock. According to Wikipedia, remains of a gallows have survived in the courtyard.
About 100 metres from the town hall stands the Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
About 200 metres further on rises the Church of the Motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
