An open-air museum of fishing and a seaside village at the foot of the lighthouse in Niechorze, with a trestle windmill from 1843 and fishermen's cottages.
The Ethnographic Park in Niechorze is an open-air museum at Ludna 22, at the foot of the lighthouse. It shows old fishing and the life of a seaside village on a site with fishermen's cottages and a windmill.
The collection includes a trestle windmill from 1843, in which the grinding of flour, the making of groats and the pressing of oil are demonstrated. In the fishermen's cottages that come from the settlements of Kępa and Niechorze, an exhibition with the interiors of the rooms has been arranged. A dedicated display presents a fishing boat, nets for catching herring, flounder, cod and salmon, stow nets and equipment for fish processing. There is also a display of agricultural equipment.
Visits are guided by educational trails, including the Fish Road and the Bread Road. The park has prepared an offer for groups and classes for primary school pupils. Right next door stands the Lighthouse Miniatures Park, and fishing is also the subject of the Sea Fishing Museum.
