Things to do in Łobez: Lake Karwowo with a bathing area, a church with a boulder tower, the Orthodox church of St George and Roland's Mound.

Łobez is a small town where, besides a beech forest and a lake, there are two places of worship and a hill with the remains of a monument. The four places in the set fill one day.

What should you see first in Łobez?

Karwowo is a lake of about 33 ha in a beech forest, with a bathing area that has a jetty, shelters and a fire place, as well as a tent field and a fishery. In town the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Kościelna 3 stands out, a brick church of the fifteenth century, rebuilt by 1949 and given back its Gothic look in 1972-1974, with a tower of erratic boulders. The second place of worship is the Church of St George, Orthodox, set up in a house of 1912, with an iconostasis moved from the church in Międzylesie.

What is Roland's Mound in Łobez?

Kopiec Rolanda (Roland's Mound) was piled up in the 1920s by the people of what was then Labes, and what remains on it is the trace of a memorial to townspeople who died in the First World War. The register of monuments took it in during 2013. It is a memorial site and is visited factually, not as entertainment. The solo outings of the set are gathered under Solo: Łobez.
